9 Fun Card Sketches with Love from Lizi

Hey Crafty Friends!! I am absolutely thrilled and honored to be a guest designer for Love from Lizi! I’ve poured my heart into crafting 10 fun and vibrant cards using the Tropical Escapes Card Kit. This incredible card kit is bursting with lively patterned paper. It includes delightful embellishments. A sentiment stamp set is also part of the kit, accompanied by a coordinating die. It’s a dream come true for any crafter!

Dimensions for Card Sketch #1:

• Card base: 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, score at 4 1/4″ on long side, fold in half.
• Basic White inside: 4″ x 5 1/4″
• Pattern Paper
  • cut at 2″ to get two 2″ x 5 1/4″ strips.
  • Turn left strip from previous step to horizontal position and cut 1 3/4″ off bottom of strip.
  • Turn right strip to horizontal position and cut 1 3/4″ off top of strip.
  • For double sided paper, flip the small pieces over for a 2 different patterns.
• sentiment strip = 1/2″ wide

Dimensions for Card Sketch #2:

• Card base: 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, score at 4 1/4″ on long side, fold in half.
• Basic White inside: 4″ x 5 1/4″
• Patterned Paper
  • Parrots: four 2″ x 2 5/8″ pieces
• sentiment strip = 1/2″ wide

Dimensions for Card Sketch #3:

• Card base: 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, score at 4 1/4″ on long side, fold in half.

  • Lemons: 1 1/4″ x 5 1/4″ strips for front
  • 1/4″ x 5 1/4″ strip for inside card, if you want

• Card base: 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, score at 4 1/4″ on long side, fold in half.
• If you want to mat the patterned paper, first cut a mat 1/8″ larger. Then, place the paper in the middle. Finally, trim the end to line up with the edge.
