Crafting with Spellbinders Just Sayin’ Pieced Hearts

Hey Crafty Friends!! I am absolutely thrilled to share a couple of exciting new cards with you today! I’ve poured my heart into crafting these heart-shaped creations using the amazing Spellbinders Just Sayin’ Pieced Hearts dies.

I crafted the cards using the Just Sayin’ 6 x 6 Patterned Paper Pad. I cut out the pieces with the Pieced Hearts Die using three dotted papers. Arranging the papers to create a heart, I alternated them for visual appeal. I adhered the pieces onto a bold black heart background using the coordinating heart die.

With the Speech Bubble Die on black paper, I cut an eye-catching bubble. I attached it with foam tape for my pink “Hello” sentiment. This added dimension. To finalize the design, I took a 5 x 7 card and the giant heart die. I placed it so the top of the heart just overhung the folded edge of the card. When cut, the card opens up in a stunning heart shape, and I glued the heart onto the card base.

Crafty Tip: For effortless assembly, lay the pieces back on the heart die and secure them together with tape.

This card showcases the same dotted patterned paper, rearranged to highlight its versatility. I am making the most of my cut paper, ensuring nothing goes to waste. Additionally, I’ve prepared another heart for a third card. For this design, I’ve cut the background heart from white cardstock. This ensures a bright and striking appearance. It allows the alligator to truly stand out.

I selected the playful alligator from the “Hooray! It’s your birthday” die set by Spellbinders. This character perfectly complements the speech bubble, adding a lively touch to the design. I incorporated the Speech Bubble Die Set alongside the Speech Bubble Sentiment Clear Stamp Set to elevate the overall effect.
