DIY Easter Cards Featuring Spellbinders Bunny Dies
Hey Crafty Friends!!! I am so excited to share the Spellbinders February Large Die of the Month with you all. Let me tell you, it is absolutely delightful! This die set, named Dancin’ Hoppy Bunnies Everywhere, features the most charming bunny with legs that really swing. It brings a level of playfulness that’s irresistible. The array of outfits to dress your bunny up in is just fabulous; I could play for hours! I even tried out some of the stunning new Colorwheel Cardstock from Spellbinders. I’m in love with how beautifully it cuts with these dies. Both of my cards are crafted in the classic American Standard A2 Size, perfect for sharing joy!

Card 1:
This irresistible cream bunny captivates everyone with its enchanting light pink dress! To elevate the design, I added a touch of deeper pink at the bottom of the dress, creating a beautiful contrast. A small foam circle at the back makes its legs swing with delightful movement on this card. The speech bubble, cut from white cardstock, proudly displays the phrase “what an amazing day” in vibrant pink ink. Both the speech bubble and the matching stamp are part of the Just Sayin’ Collection, adding the perfect touch to this creation!
The vibrant floral patterned paper, named Flower Shoppe, is lovingly cut to 4″ x 5.25″. To add a touch of sparkle, I applied pin stripe peel offs from Love from Lizi in two delightful sizes at the bottom. In the top left corner, I nestled two purple pearl gems, adding just the right amount of charm. This mat is then secured to a piece of black cardstock, 1/8″ larger than the flower print, which in turn is affixed to my white card base.

Card 2
This card began its journey with ink blending starting with the vibrant blue, swirling it from the top and toward the center, where it softened to a lighter hue. As I transitioned to the bottom half, a rich green ink infused life and vibrancy into the composition. With the ink blending complete, I cut out clouds from off-white cardstock, placing them against the backdrop. As a final touch, I trimmed the excess from the ends, bringing the vision to life.
Using the picket fence die from Spellbinders, I cut out a white picket fence and grass in two shades of green. The adorable bunny, crafted from soft gray cardstock, sports blue overalls that add a playful touch. This sweet bunny stands still, legs immobile yet full of character. I adorned the flowers with stunning black pearl gems, adding a dash of elegance. The creamy egg, ink blended, radiates the allure of freshly painted artistry. The heartfelt sentiment, from the coordinating BetterPress plate, is stamped in bold black ink, perfectly capturing the moment. This card mat measures 4″ by 5.25″ and is adhered to a white card base, completing a creation that evokes pure delight.
