Spellbinders | Summertime Vacay

Welcome Crafty Friends! Summertime Vacay is a 15 die set released as the Large Die of the Month from Spellbinders. This set makes a fun beach scene including the island, water ripples and beach furniture.

I made 2 cards using this set, one during the sunny daytime and the other, at sunset.

This daytime scene was created by cutting out the umbrella, beach chairs and clouds from the set. I used raised foam squares behind the chairs and umbrella for dimension.

I blended 4 colors into this lovely sunset and then blended 3 blue’s for the water. I used foam squares on the umbrella and chair for dimension. Layered and glued the sun and beach onto the the water. Finished it with a stamped sentiment.
