Create Gorgeous Cards with Spellbinders January 2026 Club Kits

Hey Crafty Friends!
I’m excited to share a new round of cards made with the Spellbinders January 2026 monthly club kits and show you how the updated club structure gives us even more creative flexibility this year.

What’s New with Spellbinders Clubs in 2026

Spellbinders has updated how some of their club offerings work. The Glimmer Foil and BetterPress Clubs have been merged into a single Press & Foil Club, the Wax Seal Club has been retired, and the Deluxe Caboodle is now called the All Clubs Crate.

These changes make it easier to get a variety of dies, stamps, embossing folders, and foiling tools each month. Plus they’re all great for cardmaking! I’ve used a mix of club kits for these projects, and I’ll walk you through what I made and how I approached each card.

Card 1

For this first card I used the Large Die of the Month paired with the Embossing Folder Club for a light blue textured background.

• I die-cut the colorful hummingbird using bright pinks, purples, and blues.
• Foam squares lifted the bird off the panel for dimension.
• At the bottom, I added a floral die border in green and orange tones.
• A stamped sentiment from the Clear Stamp Club finishes it off, with just a few sparkle gems for extra shine.

This card is a great example of mixing kits to build a layered and vibrant design.

Card 2

Using the same Large Die of the Month kit again, I made a fun shaker card.

• The window frame was cut using the stamp border die, and acetate plus foam tape formed the shaker.
• Inside I added tiny floral clay pieces as shaker bits.
• I placed more die-cut flowers at the base and popped a hummingbird on top.
• A Best Wishes sentiment stamped from the Clear Stamp kit completes the look.

Shaker cards are easier than you think and super fun to make.

Card 3

For my third card I pulled from the Stitched Die Club.

• I aimed for a monarch-inspired look, using black for the wing outlines and stitching details in warm orange.
• The stitched butterfly is layered on a background created with the Embossing Folder Club.
• Cloud borders cut from the same kit add extra interest.
• The sentiment is from the Clear Stamp set, and I raised the butterfly and clouds with foam tape.

This card shows how just one kit can create beautiful focal elements with real dimension.

Card 4

My final card also uses the Stitched Die Club, but this time with no stitching.

• I kept the butterfly simple but still striking.
• Sparkle gem accents give just enough detail without overwhelming the main design.
• For the background I used the square die from the Large Die club with the embossing folder, and stamped a sweet “hello” from the Clear Stamp kit.

This is a great reminder that even when you skip a step (like stitching), you can still end up with a beautifully balanced card.

Spellbinders’ monthly clubs give you a constant stream of fresh tools and kits to play with and with the tweaks to their lineup this year, there’s even more versatility in how you can combine products.

If you’re new to club kits, start by mixing one die set with one background technique and a simple sentiment. Once you get comfortable, the sky’s the limit!
