4 Inspiring Cards Using Spellbinders’ Monthly Clubs

Hey Crafty Friends! The school year is ending soon. This month’s clubs from Spellbinders are perfect for students. They are also ideal for teachers. I created four cards with a school theme, plus one versatile design for any occasion. I’m excited to showcase a majority of the clubs this month!

Spellbinders has sponsored today’s post by providing me with some dies of this months clubs.

All of my cards are made in A2 Size (4.25″ x 5.5″)

Card One

I kicked off my project with the Stitched Die of the Month Club, and this month’s offering is incredibly versatile. It showcases a stitchable armchair and lamp, both of which elevate the design. The rest of the scene is also crafted from the stitched club. The sentiment comes from the Glimmer of the Month collection. I even added a rich texture to the rug, cutting it out of felt. To top it off, I paired it with some stunning floral paper from Your Paper Insider.

Card Two

This card is the start of my school-themed cards, designed specifically for a student. The background featuring pencils comes from the Stencil of the Month Club. I’ve paired it with a Dancin’ Panda donning a graduation cap. To elevate the card further, I added bold sentiments using the Clear Stamp Club alongside the coordinating die set.

Card Three

I created another card using the stencil. For this second attempt, I lightened the pencil images to enhance the design. I cut the stencil to a 4″ x 5.25″ size and trimmed the bottom at an angle. I affixed it to a brown card base. I stamped the sentiment with clear ink and gold embossing powder on black cardstock, before placing it at the bottom. To elevate the overall look, I added three gold pin stripe peel-offs from Love from Lizi. To top it all off, I included this month’s lovely Wax Seal, finishing the card with a touch of elegance.

Card Four

I was thrilled with my graduation panda, so I decided to create another whimsical card. This time, I used the BetterPress Club with rainbow hot foil to craft a stunning background. I trimmed the background to 4″ x 5.25″, setting the stage perfectly. After cutting out my Dancin Dragon, I attached the grad cap from the Small Die of the Month. I had some leftover sentiments from a previous project, the Little Smiles Collection, and chose the bold “Congratulations.” Both the dragon and sentiment were affixed onto a piece of vellum cut with Landscape Edge Dies. I finished the card with a dark navy blue card base.

Card Five

My final card proudly celebrates teachers. I designed the background using the Embossing Folder of the Month paired with Navy Blue Cardstock. The main focal points of this card feature elements from the Small Die of the Month club. I cut the sentiment from a creative blend of white and patterned cardstock. The bottom book, a standout from an earlier Spellbinders Club offering titled Classic Tales. The apple and “teacher” book are from this months Small Die club. To complete this piece, I adorned the card with shimmering gold stars that truly elevate its appeal.
