Quick Cards Using The Little Leaps Rub-on Sheets From Spellbinders

Hi, friends! It feels like ages since my last post, and I can’t contain my excitement any longer. I am absolutely thrilled to announce the arrival of the astonishing Little Leaps rub-ons from Spellbinders!

Rub-ons are an exceptional way to effortlessly enhance your cards with intricate images and meaningful sentiments. They provide a sleek, printed finish without the hassle of stamping, coloring, or waiting for dry time, making them ideal for smooth surfaces like cardstock and patterned paper.

Using them is a breeze: simply cut out your chosen design, peel off the backing paper, position the image face down on your project, and apply firm pressure with the included popsicle stick until the artwork transfers flawlessly. Once you lift the carrier sheet, the image is permanently bonded, ready to be layered or embellished to perfection!

For these cards, I began by die-cutting six Perfect Touch Arches from white cardstock. For three cards, I added the rub-on sentiments along the lower portion of the arch. I then applied a frog above the sentiment, rubbing both images firmly until they transferred cleanly onto the arch. The other three, I added the frog on the bottom of the arch and the sentiment above.

I paired these adorable, colorful frogs with some floral patterned paper from Not 2 Shabby I found that this paper matched the colors in the frogs perfectly. I cut the paper to A2 Size and glue it onto my white card bases.

To finish the card, I used foam squares to attach the arched focal panel to the center of the patterned background, giving the design added dimension. I added a couple of green Fairy Dust gems to each card near the sentiment for a little sparkle, the green pairs well with the frogs.
