Spellbinders | Stitched Pineapple

Welcome to my crafty corner! Today, I am exploring the May Stitched Die of the Month from Spellbinders. I look forward to see what each month brings and Spellbinders knocked it out of the park this month. This fun, and fruity die set comes with 5 dies to make a stitched pineapple.

I made 2 cards so far with this die set, it is soo east to put together. The stitching looks amazing once it is all done as well. This has to be one of my favorite stitched die sets so far.

I started with cutting out the different pieces and went with 3 different green colors for the stem. I then started the stitching, which I used DMC threads.

Once I was done with the stitching, I assembled the pineapples onto of some glitter paper from Lawn Fawn. I added some embellishments on each stitched segment and finished it off with a lovely sentiment.

The sentiment is made using hot foil, it is a method that I prefer over heat embossing. I love getting my sentiment from Taylored Expressions as they have sheets made specifically for hot foil. I love having a stash of sentiments that I can choose from when making a card.
