Spellbinders | Nichol’s Needlework Collection
Welcome Crafty Friends! Today, I am working on this new collection from Spellbinders, “Nichols Needlework” by Nichol Spohr. This collection comes with dies for flowers & rainbows, fall pumpkins and even Christmas Trees and Stockings. Spellbinders has sponsored today’s post by providing me with 2 die sets from this collection.
I was provided with the basic needlework dies, Gathering Stitches & Needleworker Tool Kit, and purchased the stamp set and holiday dies. This die set is so versatile for use for holidays, birthdays and much more.

I made 3 cards with this set so far and I know a few people in my family who would love to receive these cards. These cards are all A2 Size (4.25″ x 5.5″).

Cut all the pieces using papers lying around and start assembly. The pattern paper is cut slightly smaller than the card base, 4″ x 5.25″.
I used a brown ink to blend on the spools for added texture. Glue the ring to the patterned paper and the stitching circle is placed using foam tape to raise it up a bit. Glue the bottom spool to the patterned paper and the other is raised with foam tape.
Stamp the sentiment, in this case, using the Cats & Pugs Sentiment Stamp set from Bibi’s Cats and Pugs Collection. Embellish the flowers with some gems to finish the card off.

All pieces were cut from my stash of paper and assembled. I blended a dark yellow ink onto the card base and stamped the sentiment in brown ink. Glue the ring and stitched circle to the card base and arrange the pumpkins. Glue the leaves and vines to the back of the pumpkins and attach flowers to the fronts. Both pumpkins are attached with foam tape, use 2 different thickness’ so one pumpkin is raise off the other. Finish with gluing the needle and thread to the card base.
This set allows for a witch hat that can be added to change these to Halloween theme.

Cut all the pieces using cardstock lying around. I found some fun patterned paper that fit well with the tree and glued it on top of the green card base. Pattern paper is cut slightly smaller than the card base, 4″ x 5.25″.
Assemble the ring by gluing the frame to the patterned paper, use foam tape to raise the stitching circle. Assemble the tree by placing the branches on top of the green needles, embellish with gems for the decorations. Cut the sentiment from glitter card stock
