Spellbinders | Bibi’s Big Pugs & Accessories

Hello, Crafty Friends! I’m back to working on this animal-themed card set. I’ve just started exploring Spellbinders’ new “Bibi’s Cats & Pugs” collection. I had so much fun with the big that I knew the Big Pugs were next.

This adorable card was made by cutting out all the pieces and assembling them on top of the background die. I added foam adhesive under the head and on brown part of the nose for added dimension. I used the accessories die set for the bandana, I had some fun dog print patterned paper from Newotn’s Nook that worked perfect.

I grabbed my Typewriter Stamp set for the sentiment, stamped it with black ink and cut it out with a banner die. I trimmed the end so that it fit better. The back of the dog has foam adhesive tape for dimension off the card base. Finished it with a couple Spellbinders embellishments and glued it to my card.

I went with a brown pug this time, using the same technique to cut and assemble the dog together. This time I also used the glasses and candles dies from the accessories set along with the bandana. I chose a different pattern from Newton’s nook and matched the glasses colors with those in the bandana.

Once again, the head and top part of the nose are raised with foam tape. This time, I took my card and used the big outline die to cut the pug shape out. I adhered the pug to the card, stamped my sentiment and added some fun gems.
