This die set comes with intricate wing details. I started by cutting the wings and main body out of black cardstock. I followed that with 3 extra wing cuts for the different colors: Lavender purple, pink and a light aqua. For the head, I chose a darker aqua and the body, purple.

Crafty Tip: If you find the wing outline to be too thin, cut a second one. Stack them on top of one another.

This die set comes with a full wing background. I attached the black outline on it. Then, I filled in the spaces with the three colors. I made sure that the colors were evenly spaced. Once the wings were assembled, I assembled the rest of the Dragonfly, including some black gems for the eyes.

Once the Dragonfly was masterfully assembled, I confidently moved to the card mat, fueled by the excitement of creation. I chose a vibrant blue cardstock embellished with shimmering gold flecks, expertly cutting it to 4″ x 5.25″. I utilized the Faceted Petals Embossing folder to design a textured background that would bring my vision to life. This stunning mat was affixed to a 4.25″ x 5.5″ black card mat, elevating its allure and sophistication.

I cut the sentiment “Hello” out using black cardstock and glued it to the top right corner.

The sentiment is crafted with the exquisite “Take Flight” BetterPress coordinating set, capturing the essence of creativity! I utilized BetterPress Paper and the rich BetterPress Black Ink to bring it to life. This month, the BetterPress set is a treasure. It comes complete with coordinating dies that cut out the sentiments. I did this here, allowing the magic of expression to take flight!
