Festive Card Ideas with Spellbinders’ Merry Mischief Collection

Hey Crafty Friends!! I have a fun collection to showcase today, the Merry Mischief Collection from Spellbinders. This collection features 4 different die sets, an embossing folder and a BetterPress Plate. I will be using 3 of the die sets. Each die set comes with a coordinating clear sentiment stamp.

Chimney Caper

The Chimney Caper die set is a whimsical die set that features Santa stuck in the chimney. and comes complete with 3 coordinating sentiments. To create this card, I cut Santa from red and white cardstock. I used black glitter paper for the belt and boots. I have white glitter paper for the snow on the chimney.

The background is created using white acrylic spray on dark blue cardstock to create a snowy scene. The sentiment is stamped in red ink onto white cardstock. I finished this card off with some pearl gem embellishments.

Deck the Paws

I love the Deck the Paws die set and it’s a perfect addition to my costumed dogs collection. I kept this card very simple with gold shimmer paper for the star. I have used red shimmer cardstock for the garland and green cardstock for the tree. The dog is made using tan and brown cardstock.

The background is embossed using the Peppermint Stripes Embossing Folder. I embellished the tree with some clay candy cane sprinkles. I also added a few sparkly gems on the background. I kept this card fairly clean and simple.

Hedge-Hugs

This final card uses the Hedge-Hugs die set. This adorable winter die features a skate wearing hedgehog. I used 2 shades of brown to make the main body of the hedgehog. The skates are cut from silver shimmer paper and I used pink glitter paper for the earmuffs and skate boots.

This card is also a very simple card, I embossed the background using Nordic Noel embossing folder. I added some sparkly gems to the center of each snowflake on the background.
