Spellbinders has sponsored today’s post by providing me with dies from this collection. I have made 3 cards so far using this set. All 3 cards are made in standard A2 Size (4.25″ x 5.5″).

To make this card, cut out 3 penguins and choose their accessories. I went with the sweater, reindeer antlers and wreath. Assemble them all and use foam tape on the back.

Choose a background, I went with a blue snowflake paper that I found in my stash. Arrange the 3 penguins on the front and choose a sentiment.

I cut happy holidays out using white glitter cardstock – if you want the found to stand out more, feel free to use the coordinating background die.

To make this card, use the background die on both white cardstock and white glitter cardstock. Pop out the snowflakes from both sheets. Adhere the white to blue glitter cardstock. Take the glitter snowflakes and use them to fill the open spots – I only use the snowflakes that had cutouts in them.

Take the sentiment dies and choose the sentiment you want. I used Happy Holidays. Cut the sentiment out of blue glitter cardstock and adhere to the coordinating white sentiment backgrounds.

This card uses the snowflake dies and sentiments. Cut the 3 different snowflakes with white glitter cardstock and their backgrounds in vellum paper. Glue the snowflakes onto the vellum.

Choose your sentiment – I went with “Let it Snow” cut using a light blue paper for the font and white paper for the background.

Adhere the snowflake to the background in an alternating order – I choose a blue snowflake pattern paper from my stash. Adhere the sentiment to the background, I went chose to place them on the opposite sides of the snowflakes. Embellish with two tone blue dots.
