Spellbinders | Stitched All Wrapped Up

Welcome Crafty Friends! Today, I want to show you cards made using the July Stitching Die of the Month featuring the July Stencil of the Month.

The stitching die comes with 18 dies that include everything to make bows and the coordinating ribbons. Meanwhile, the stencil comes with the lovely sprigs stencil as well as a coordinating ribbon & bow.

Cards are made in standard A2 Size (4.25″ x 5.5″)

The paper for the stencil is a bright white cardstock, with the green sentiment glued on top of brushed silver cardstock for the outline. THe bow is cut out of glitter cardstock as well as the ribbon in the back – for this one, I did not use the stitched part of the dies. This is to show that you can make a nice card without stitching.

Used the stencil on top of a more creamy off white paper to allow the bow to stand out more. The cut pieces are stitched using the Gold DMC Thread for every piece, then glued together to form the bow. Embellishments were added to the center using pearls from my stash. Sentiment is cut out of gold cardstock while the background is the same red as the bow.
