Create Holiday Cards with Classic Mouse Dies

Hey Crafty Friends!!! I am excited for this die set. Earlier this year, I created with the Classic Mouse Collection from Spellbinders. Now, there is an addition to that collection: Christmas. I love that they added the Christmas add on dies. There are 2 new die sets in this collection, Christmas hats set and wreath set.

Both cards that I made are in American A2 Size

Card 1

This first card uses the Classic Mouse Die, holiday embellishments die and holiday wreath die. I am using some glitter cardstock along with my colored cardstock. I also embossed the background using Christmas Tile Embossing Folder from Spellbinders.

To make this card, I started out with my Classic Mouse die, I cut Mickey out of black and cream cardstock. I cut the pants from red glitter cardstock. I cut the holiday hat from the holiday embellishments die set. I cut the hat from red cardstock as well as white glitter cardstock. I glued the hat on to the Mickey head.

The wreath is cut from green cardstock and I used one of the sentiment dies to cut “Happy Holidays” out of the bottom of the wreath. I lined the back with red glitter cardstock. I glue Mickey to the wreath. I glued his feet behind the wreath and his head and arms on the outside. I embossed my white card mat before gluing the mickey and wreath to it.

Card 2

The second card that I made, I used the Classic Mouse Dies and the Holiday Embellishment Dies. The background, is a simple snowflake pattern on white cardstock.

To make this card, I assembled both classic mice using black and cream cardstocks. I am keeping a simple red theme, so their clothes and hats are cut from red and white cardstock. I created the background using a sheet of snowflake rub-ons over top of white cardstock. I glued both mice on top of my background. I finished the card off with a simple red cardstock sentiment that says “Noel”
